Read a Metric's Page

What each part of a metric's page shows, from its latest value and chart to its history, reference ranges, and settings.

Updated

Every metric, such as Weight, Resting Heart Rate, or Net Worth, has a page of its own. Open one from a page’s Metrics list, a card, a chart, or Search.

From Top to Bottom

  1. Its name and what it is, exactly. Kaizora’s metrics are precise: Heart Rate Variability (SDNN) and (RMSSD) are two metrics, as are VO₂ Max and Estimated VO₂ Max.
  2. Its latest value, large, with when it was measured, how it changed over the chart’s range, and how many values it has.
  3. Its chart, with its average, its lowest and highest, or its total, and, for a fitness test, your personal best. See Change a Chart’s Range, Grouping, and Breakdown.
  4. How It’s Calculated, for a score. See Read a Score’s How It’s Calculated.
  5. History: its latest few values, each with its … menu to edit or delete the entry it came from, ending with See all data, every value as a table.
  6. Reference Ranges: the ranges that apply to you, by your sex and age, with those for other ages and sexes folded under them. See Add a Reference Range.
  7. About: how it’s calculated, for a calculated metric, and the article that best explains it.

A metric with no values yet shows one message instead, with Log and its article.

The Header’s Buttons

At the top right:

  • Learn more opens articles about the metric on Kaizora’s website.
  • The star adds it to your favorites on Home.
  • The … menu has Export data, every value as CSV or JSON. Below it are the metric’s settings, where it has any: its Display Unit, shared by every metric of its kind; for a calculated metric, the settings it uses, such as the BMR formula or how often your age updates; and links to what it’s calculated from in Settings, such as your date of birth.

Logging It

On a metric’s page, Log in the header logs that metric at once. A metric that’s part of an entry, such as systolic blood pressure, opens the entry’s form, and a lab analyte’s page starts a lab result with the analyte chosen.

Where It Belongs

Each metric has one home page, where its breadcrumbs lead, such as Health › Body › Weight. It can also appear on other pages: time asleep is on Sleep and on Time.
