Connect Withings for Live Sync

Connect your Withings account once, and Kaizora brings in your scale, cuff, and watch readings every hour, with Sync now whenever you want them sooner.

Updated

A live connection signs in to a service once, then keeps your data up to date with no files. Withings is Kaizora’s first. It brings in weight, body composition, heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature from your Withings scales, blood pressure monitors, and watches.

The Withings connection is coming: it opens once Kaizora’s registration with Withings is complete. Until then, import Withings’ export file instead.

Connect

  1. Open Data Sources, from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Under Connections, find Withings and choose Connect Withings.
  3. Sign in to Withings and allow Kaizora access.
  4. You come back to Kaizora, which brings in your data. Withings Connected says when it’s in.

After that, Withings syncs every hour on its own. Its row on Data Sources says when it Last synced.

Sync Now

To bring in a reading you just took, choose Sync now on Withings’ row. If a sync is already running, its data appears when it finishes.

The Live Connection and the File

A reading from Withings is the same reading whether it came by the live connection or in the export file, so connecting never makes a second copy of what a file already brought in. As with every import, its readings are read-only; you can add notes to them. If the Withings app writes to Apple Health too, Kaizora skips Withings’ copies in your Apple Health export.

Disconnect

Open Withings’ … menu and choose Disconnect. It stops syncing; its data and history stay until you delete them, and connecting again picks up where it left off. To remove its data, choose Delete data in the same menu; see Delete What a Source Brought In.

One Connection Free

One service can be connected live for free, and Kaizora Plus connects every one at once. With only Withings available today, it’s free. See What Kaizora Plus Adds.
