Withings Stopped Syncing
What to do when a live connection says its sync failed, or new readings haven't arrived.
Updated
A live connection such as Withings, which is coming, syncs every hour. When one stops, Kaizora tells you with a Connection Errors notification, if you have them on, and its row on Data Sources says what happened.
Check Its Row on Data Sources
Open Data Sources from the account menu and find the connection under Connections:
- Last synced …: it’s working. A reading you just took arrives within the hour; choose Sync now to bring it in sooner.
- Syncing failed … with Last error: the last sync didn’t work, and why.
- Connected, not synced yet: the first sync hasn’t run; it tries again within the hour.
- Disconnected: it was disconnected, and its data stays until you delete it.
Fix It
- Choose Sync now. If a sync is already running, wait for it: its data appears when it finishes.
- If it says Withings didn’t accept the sign-in, the access you gave has ended, for example because Kaizora’s access was removed in your Withings account. Open the connection’s … menu, choose Disconnect, then Connect Withings again and sign in. Your data stays, and connecting again picks up where it left off.
- If it keeps failing, disconnect and connect again. Your readings stay throughout.
Still Missing a Reading?
- Check that the reading reached your Withings account: open the Withings app and make sure it synced with the device.
- History, at the top of Data Sources, lists every sync, when it ran, how many entries it logged, and its error.
If none of this works, write to us with what the error says.
