Change Your Name, Photo, and Profile
Change your name, profile photo, date of birth, sex, language, region, time zone, and how calculated values are worked out.

All of this is on Settings › General. Each change saves at once.
Profile
- Name: how Kaizora addresses you, shown in the account menu.
- Photo: choose Add photo (or Change photo) and pick a JPEG, PNG, or WebP picture. Its centre square is cut out and made small on your device, so only that small square is uploaded, never the original or the time and place inside it. Remove photo takes it away, and your name’s first letter shows instead.
- Date of Birth and Sex: these tailor calculated values, such as your age and basal metabolic rate, and which reference ranges apply to you, such as those for adults over 50.
Language and Region
- Language: English, French, or Spanish.
- Region: picks your default units and how dates and numbers are written. In the United States, for example, that’s pounds, inches, miles, and Fahrenheit.
- Time Zone: days start at midnight here, for daily totals, charts, and habits. Left to System, it follows your device’s.
- Week Starts On: the first day of the week in calendars and weekly charts.
Each follows your device until you choose one.
Calculations
- BMR Formula: how your basal metabolic rate is worked out: Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict, or Katch-McArdle, which needs a body fat value. Your whole history follows the formula you choose.
- Age Updates: how often your age gets a new value, and with it what’s calculated from it: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly, on birthdays.
