Getting Started With Kaizora
Create your account, tell Kaizora a little about yourself, log a first value, and bring in the history you already have.
Updated
Kaizora keeps everything you measure about yourself in one history, from your body and sleep to the air you breathe and your money. Here’s how to get going in a few minutes.
Create Your Account
- Choose Start free on this site.
- Sign up with your email address and a password.
- Open the link in the email Kaizora sends you, to confirm the address.
Tell Kaizora About Yourself
The first time you sign in, Kaizora asks for your name, your date of birth, and your sex. Your date of birth and sex tailor values Kaizora calculates, such as your age and basal metabolic rate, and the reference ranges that apply to you, such as those for adults or for women. You can change them later in Settings, on the General tab.
Next comes Start Tracking: log a first value of your weight, your step count, your time asleep, or your blood pressure, or choose Skip. Either way, you land on Home.
Follow the First Steps on Home
A new account’s Home starts with Get Started, a short list of first steps. Each one disappears once it’s done:
- Log a first value, of anything you’d like to follow.
- Connect a data source, to bring in your history from a service you use.
- Add a first habit, such as a number of steps a day.
- Add a place you go often, such as home or work.
- Add a device, such as a scale or a watch.
- Track my location on this device, to keep a location history without logging it.
Log Something
Choose Log at the top right of any page (or press L), search for what you’re logging, such as “weight”, fill in the form, and choose Log. Log a Value has the details.
Bring In What You Already Have
If another app already holds your history, export it and import the file from Data Sources, in the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Start with Import a File, then the guide for your service, such as Apple Health.
Next Steps
- Find your way around the sidebar, the areas, and their pages.
- Set a target with a habit.
- See which default reference ranges already flag your values, and add your own.
Kaizora helps you keep track of your own data. It isn’t a medical device and doesn’t give medical advice: talk to a health professional about your results.
